1. Who are we?
SolarMask is a trade name of Siebring & Velinga V.O.F. (Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 96476540, VAT NL867627797B01), based in the Netherlands. Contact: contact@solarmask.eu.
2. What data do we collect?
We collect personal data that you provide to us yourself when placing an order or completing a contact form: name, email address, delivery address and payment details. Payment details are processed via Stripe and are not stored by us. To view your order online you can log in passwordless via a one-time, secure login link sent by email — you do not need to create a password.
3. What do we use your data for?
The legal basis is the performance of the purchase agreement. We use your data to: process and deliver your order, display your order in the online portal, answer your questions and comply with statutory obligations. For marketing (such as our newsletter) we ask for your consent separately; you can withdraw it at any time.
4. Retention period
We retain order and invoice data for 7 years pursuant to the statutory retention obligation towards the Dutch Tax Authorities. Contact form messages are retained for a maximum of 1 year. If you request deletion of your customer account, we pseudonymise your customer data but retain the invoice data for as long as the statutory retention obligation applies.
5. Third parties (processors)
We share your data with processors only insofar as necessary: Stripe (payment processing), PostNL or DHL (delivery), Supabase (secure data storage and passwordless login, EU) and Resend (sending transactional emails such as order and shipping confirmations). We never sell your data to third parties.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and data portability regarding your personal data. Send a request to contact@solarmask.eu.
7. Cookies
We use exclusively functional cookies and anonymous analytical cookies. No tracking or advertising cookies are placed without your consent.
8. Security
Your data is stored on servers in the EU and secured with encryption.
